The Edible Peace Patch Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit here in St. Petersburg. The Peace Patch is creating a systemic solution to two of the problems caused by poverty on the south side -- specifically nutritional and educational outcomes.

Currently, the Peace Patch has 6 schoolyard gardens in place. We're partnering with All Children's Fit4All program to teach kids at our schools how to cook in healthy ways. We plan to grow to 9 Title 1 schools, focused in south St. Pete. Our next step is to develop a large urban farm, and we need interns with energy and capacity to make it happen!

The Peace Patch has a fast paced work environment, and we seek talented employees who crave learning new skills and aren't afraid to tackle big projects.  As an intern you will get to work with our staff, while working on real projects that will help us grow.  Our ideal candidate is someone who has good business sense and believes in the triple bottom line, someone who understands that in growing the community, we grow business opportunities.
